Supportive and experienced faculty will guide you through a series of small group workshops - wellbeing and organisational aspects will be covered along with case-based discussion to refresh your clinical knowledge and skills.
This course has limited spaces to provide maximum benefit.
Appropriate for all grades of anaesthetists in training, specialty doctors and consultants.
The programme for this course has been designed by the Return to Work online course working group.

Pricing Terms and Conditions
Payment must be made at the time of booking unless otherwise stated. The RCoA, FICM and FPM are unable to hold places on events without payment. Credit or debit card payments must be made online via our card payment handler Stripe, or by phone. We do not accept purchase orders or raise invoices for places on our events.
Discounts are available for some membership types at the rates stated above. You must be eligible for the discount both at the time of the booking and at the time of the event itself. We may ask for proof of your member status at any point. If you are unable to prove your entitlement to the discount we may charge you the full event rate, or invite you to update your membership status accordingly. In such a situation we may withhold access to the event until your updated payment clears, or your new membership status is confirmed.
Clinical Content Leads
Dr Jill Horn is a Consultant Anaesthetist at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Having been College tutor and Training Programme Director, Jill is now Head of School for Yorkshire and the Humber. She has previously been the Simulation Lead for Bradford and is a Primary FRCA Examiner.
Jill has personal experience of returning to work both during her training and as a consultant and has been a course director for GASagain since 2010. Jill presents nationally for the RCoA, Association of Anaesthetists and HEE on return to work and runs workshops to help supervisors in supporting doctors who have taken time out of training. She also runs a Return to Acute Care Training Course and is now working within the RCoA Return to Work Network to improve resources across the UK. All of these projects have developed as a result of collaborative working and their success is due to the energy, commitment and expertise of many colleagues.
Dr Karen Kidner is a Consultant Anaesthetist at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals where her clinical interests include colorectal anaesthesia and preoperative assessment. She has an interest in medical education and has held several posts including College tutor and then Training Programme Director for core trainees. Karen is currently Training Programme Director for an increasing number of less than full time trainees.
Karen has had an interest in returning to work for many years having set up a return to work course for anaesthetists in 2013. This has developed into becoming SuppoRTT Champion for the School as well as the Trust.
