The anaesthetic department at Ysbyty Gwynedd district general hospital has become the first in Wales to achieve the prestigious Anaesthesia Clinical Services Accreditation.
On successful completion of the Structured Oral Examination (SOE), candidates are awarded the fellowship by examination of the Royal College of Anaesthetists and may use the letters FRCA after their name.
Liverpool's Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust has been re-accredited under the Royal College of Anaesthetists (RCoA) Anaesthesia Clinical Services Accreditation (ACSA) scheme.
