Come and talk to us.

Welcome to the 2025 series of "Let's Talk" events.

This is your chance to meet with Council members and College staff to discuss anything and everything about your membership. Whether you have feedback, new ideas, or questions—about the College, your career, or the future of anaesthesia—we’re here to listen and encourage a lively discussion.

For our March Let’s Talk, we’ll be joined by Dr Jon Chambers and our AiT representatives on Council. All members are welcome, and we’re especially keen to hear from anaesthetists in training. It’s the perfect opportunity to share your thoughts and be part of the discussion.

If you would like to ask a question in advance or have any suggestions for topics and speakers you would like us to focus on please email engage@rcoa.ac.uk

Let’s Talk is an event for members only. If those present agree, we will record the session for internal use.

Let's Talk  running order

In order to give the meeting a structure, we will follow the suggested agenda below but the most important thing to us is to hear what you want to say, so please help us by considering the following:

  • Welcome
  • What would you like to talk about?
  • Do you have any questions you would like to put to us in advance.  You can do so by emailing:  engage@rcoa.ac.uk and if you would prefer we will keep your question anonymous.
  • Over to you
These sessions are live and you will be able to talk to our Council Members directly - please do come and engage with us.  You can have your camera on or off as you choose and also answer questions in the chat, if you would prefer not to speak live.
