Dr Ronnie Biggs

I have been a Wessex Trainee since graduating in 2012, so am well aware of the fantastic opportunities this region can provide.  Having spent a large portion of my career here, with the odd jaunt to Australia, I am well aware of the challenges trainees face locally and the systems available to provide support to training and welfare.

I am dedicated to the provision of education and training within our region and am a keen advocate for  trainee's wellbeing.  I have fulfilled local representative roles during my career and am currently Co-Director for the South Coast Intensive Final Course (IF Courses).  I have interests in advanced paediatric anaesthesia and major general surgery.

Outside of my work I am a keen baker, a questionable surfer, a partial cycling/running enthusiast and father to two girls.
