Dr Phillip Harrington

I am currently a ST8 trainee in Anaesthesia and ICM in the Birmingham School of Anaesthesia. Despite not moving far from where I grew up and studied my training has afforded the privilege of working in many of the hospitals within the West Midlands as well as in paediatric and neonatal transfer services. 

I have held trainee educational and service lead positions in a number of hospitals and so I have experience in advocating for and supporting my fellow trainees. My clinical interests include teaching, simulation training and point of care ultrasound. 

When not at work I can be found largely outside; either with my wife walking our dog or training for triathlons and other endurance endeavours that are rapidly increasing in length.
