Published: 21/03/2023
We are pleased that the government has agreed to enter talks with the BMA to seek a resolution to the dispute over junior doctors’ pay.
Junior doctors are under a great deal of pressure arising from profound NHS workforce shortages and other factors causing a steady erosion of morale and wellbeing, including pay. We hope a fair settlement can be reached that recognises their vital role in providing patient care within the NHS.
