Let's Talk
Come and talk to us
Following the recent membership survey, we are reviewing our membership categories and we want you to be part of this change.
Come and talk to us.
Over the last year, we’ve been reviewing how well our membership structure serves and supports our members. Following this work, our Board of Trustees has approved a full review of our membership categories – and we want you to be part of it.
We’re opening the floor for you to ask questions, provide feedback, and share your insights. Your perspective is invaluable and will play a key role in shaping the future of our membership offering. The conversation will be led by Dr Paul Southall, who is the Clinical Lead for the review and other senior members of the College will be present to answer questions.
Why get involved?
We want to make membership:
- More inclusive, valuable and future-ready.
- Fair and transparent, while ensuring financial sustainability.
- Simpler and smarter, with automation that improves member experience.
- Easier to navigate, making it more accessible and efficient for both members our employees.
- Sustainable, with the right resources to support our community over time.
We’re looking forward to working with you to ensure membership of the College remains relevant and accessible for all anaesthetists.
Let’s Talk is an event for members only. If those present agree, we will record the session for internal use.
Let's Talk running order
In order to give the meeting a structure, we will follow the suggested agenda below but the most important thing to us is to hear what you want to say, so please help us by considering the following:
- Welcome
- Paul Southall will lead us into a discussion around the membership review.
- Do you have any questions you would like to put to us in advance. You can do so by emailing: engage@rcoa.ac.uk and if you would prefer we will keep your question anonymous.
- Over to you
These sessions are live and you will be able to talk to our Council Members directly - please do come and engage with us. You can have your camera on or off as you choose and also answer questions in the chat, if you would prefer not to speak live.
