Dr Thomas Grant

I completed a degree in Politics at the University of Nottingham, before graduate-entry medicine. In between I founded a small capacity building project in central Kenya and retain in interest in global health. I am a less than fulltime trainee and father of two, who feels very strongly that we can and should do more to increase full inclusion in society, the NHS, medicine and anaesthesia. As such I am a member of the Thames Valley Cultural Diversity and Inclusion Network and have an interest in projects that make tangible progress to tackle inequality and maximise equity. Therefore, one focus I will have is on differential attainment – especially within our examination system and workforce planning.
