Captained Doctors Cricket Team in Galle and Kandy. Accomplished singer of traditional Sinhalese songs. Wrote the script, directed and acted in the comedy skit at the Family get-together of the Kandy Society of Medicine for many years.
Founder President, Kandy Buddhist Doctors Association which worked for the upliftment of the living and educational standards of rural population. His philanthropy helped fund many of these projects.
