Other biographical information
He married Olive Naylor in 1941. She predeceased Dr Badman in 1987. They had one son and two daughters: John, Gilllian and Caroline.
Outwith his medical career, in 1961 George became chairman of the Blackpool Tower Company. There appears to have been a long family association with The Blackpool Tower Company. Grandfather Alfred was chairman of The Winter Gardens in Blackpool. The newspaper entry confirms that Dr Badman was also a consultant anaesthetist. The Blackpool Tower Company was bought by EMI in 1974.
