Three new appointments made to RCoA Board of Trustees

The Royal College of Anaesthetists is pleased to announce that Dr Elisa Bertoja, Dr Paul Southall and Dr Chris Till have been elected to its Board of Trustees. Their terms as Trustees will be served concurrently with their terms as Council members.  

Dr Bertoja, Dr Southall and Dr Till succeed three outgoing Trustees whose terms concluded in March 2026. We extend our thanks to Dr Ros Bacon, Professor Mike Grocott and Professor Jonathan Thompson for their invaluable contribution to the Board and the College.  

Dr Claire Shannon, President of the RCoA and Chair of the Board of Trustees said:    

“I am delighted to welcome Elisa, Paul and Chris to the Board of Trustees. Our Board plays a critical role in the governance of the College and I am very grateful to them for taking on this important responsibility.
