Changes to How You Receive Your Examination Results
As part of our commitment to improving the candidate experience for those sitting RCoA examinations (FRCA, FFICM, FFPMRCA), we have updated the way examination results are delivered.
Results received via the membership portal, My RCoA
Candidates will now receive their examination results exclusively through My RCoA, our secure membership portal. Emailed result letters will no longer be sent.
Benefits of Using My RCoA
- Permanent access to your result record.
- Downloadable transcript showing your performance breakdown; ideal for uploading to the LLP or sharing with your employer.
- Complete exam history available over time.

Additional features include access to College publications, the BJA online platform (depending on membership category), and the ability to update your membership details.
Accessing Your Results
On the published results release date, simply log in to the membership portal, My RCoA by clicking the ‘Login’ button on our website.
If you are not yet registered, please follow the registration process on our website. Once registered, you can access your account at any time. If you are already registered, no further action is required.

Receiving your results FAQs
Your exam results will now be available exclusively via the My RCoA portal. Results will no longer be sent by email.
My RCoA is the College’s secure membership portal. It allows candidates to:
- Access a permanent record of their exam results.
- Download transcripts for LLP uploads or employer sharing.
- View a complete history of exams over time.
- Update membership details.
- Access College publications and the BJA online platform (depending on membership category).
Simply visit the RCoA website and click the ‘Login’ button to access My RCoA. Your results will be available from the published release time.
If you’re not yet registered:
- Follow the registration process on the RCoA website.
- Once registered, you can log in anytime using the ‘Login’ button.
