GPAS 2024 - Public consultation

The College is pleased to announce that the public consultation is now open for the following Guidelines for the Provision of Anaesthesia Services (GPAS) chapter drafts:

  • Guidelines for the Provision of Anaesthesia Services for Inpatient Pain Management
  • Guidelines for the Provision of Anaesthesia Services for ENT, Oral Maxillofacial and Dental surgery
  • Guidelines for the Provision of Anaesthesia Services for Vascular Procedures

GPAS supports anaesthetists with responsibilities for service delivery and healthcare managers to design and deliver high quality anaesthetic services.

All GPAS chapters are developed by subject matter experts using a rigorous, evidence based process. The above GPAS chapters were originally published in 2019 and have undergone a full review in line with current best practice.

Below you will find the chapter drafts and consultation form. Please review these and if you have any feedback please complete the consultation form and email the form to GPAS@rcoa.ac.uk.
