Since completing medical school at UCL in 2013, I’ve had the opportunity to experience great training in various regions. I completed my foundation training in the West Midlands, which first gave me enthusiasm and desire to pursue a career in Anaesthetics. I then moved back to London to complete Core Training in the North East Thames deanery, and finally commenced registrar training in the Thames Valley, where I’m currently completing my ST5 year at Milton Keynes Hospital. The geographical variance of my training has given me a great appreciation to how training and good practice can vary across the country. I am currently the ATRG representative for Oxford and have recently been elected as a new member of the Anaesthetist in Training Committee. I now sit on the Recruitment, SALG and CT3 equivalent committees. I hope to bring my motivation, enthusiasm and dedication in continuing the great work commenced by the previous committee.
