RCoA Advisory Board for Scotland

In response to devolution, the Royal College of Anaesthetists, after consultation with the specialty in Scotland, set up the Royal College of Anaesthetists Board in Scotland. The Board superseded the Scottish Standing Committee of the College as a larger, more formal group, including elected members and Regional Advisers along with a lay member and co-opted members as required. The Board meets regularly to respond to the needs of devolution and to help create services in anaesthesia, critical care and pain medicine to meet the needs of the people of Scotland.
