GMC guidance on leadership and management for doctors

The GMC has published guidance on the wider management and leadership responsibilities of all doctors in the workplace. The guidance is aimed at helping doctors understand their responsibilities in relation to employment issues; teaching and training; acting on concerns; developing services; as well as planning, using and managing resources. The guidance comes into effect on 12 March 2012 and will replace the GMC document Management for Doctors (2006).
